Our boat is an older 1990 22' Baja. The original bimini top that came with it snaps to the windshield, so it's not very usable when driving and it only covers the front 2 seats. The Summerset top covers more space in the boat than the original, and isn't so tall it looks like we're parasailing compared to other aftermarket tops that are a foot taller. This was the only top I could find at 36" height with the width of our boat. It's got tall walls, so we didn't need anything taller than 36".The hardware is a combo of metal and plastic, but everything seems sturdy. The rear support poles are nice since they take the flimsiness of straps out of the backside. Make sure you hook the straps to the poles and not the cover (like in the photo). When moving there is lots of wind pressure blowing on the top, so the straps move less when connected to the metal frame.Overall the top works great and we should get lots more use out of the boat this year since we'll have more shade. Once the temp gets over 90, you need a place to cool down if you're not in the water.Almost forgot about the boot. It's easy to put the boot on and off when you're in the water or on the boat ramp. When traveling down the highway, the boot needs to be on to keep everything secure and not flapping like crazy.Great service and fast shipping!!!
